About me!
Hi, I’m Luis Quintero. I’m a Senior 3D Animator focused on character performance, cinematic storytelling, and bringing expressive characters to life across AAA games, film, and television. I’ve been fortunate to work professionally in animation for over fourteen years, though the obsession definitely started much earlier.

I grew up in Cuba, where cartoons were often watched communally at whichever home had electricity that evening. Those shared moments sparked my curiosity about characters, worlds, and stories, and pushed me toward drawing from a very early age. At some point, repeatedly drawing what I watched stopped being a hobby and started looking suspiciously like a life path.

When me and my family moved to Israel, drawing became more than a passion it became a way to connect. It helped me overcome the language barrier with classmates and showed me early on that art could forge fellowships across culture, language, and place. It turns out a bit of art can say a lot about you before your vocabulary catches up.

Later, in New York City, that fascination turned into a real direction. I studied at the High School of Art and Design and then at Pratt Institute, where I focused on 3D animation and earned my degree in Digital Arts. Since then, I’ve worked across AAA games, VFX, television, and independent productions, collaborating with talented teams to shape character performances across various projects. Very lucky me, really.

What continues to drive me is the expressive power of animation the ability to reveal a character’s inner world through movement, acting, physicality, emotion, intention, and story. I’m especially drawn to characters who feel specific, alive, and fully realized.
This site is a place to share my work, my background, and some of the things that continue to inspire me through art and animation. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to say hi!
